Little Shop of Knowledge
Finca El Zapote: Paradise next door. Located in Escuintla (just a couple of hours away from the city), this property contains an environment where one can become synchronized with nature and the world. Together with the rest of the MPC we spent a wonderful time from april 10 to 12 in this breathtaking place. We learned about observation, nature, solitude, botanics, teamwork, solstices, and what not. Through these images you'll get a taste of what those days were like, I would recommend anyone to visit this place at least once in their lives: it's a true spectacle!

Our first activity when we arrived: A dialogue on Gödel, Escher, Bach.

We had to pick a place and get to know it. Though you can't see all of it here's one of my first impressions of the spot I chose.
From the macro scale to the tiny details, we were to observe our space as general and detailes as possible. Here are some of my recordings.
I was sad to see this little guy didn't make it. However, it was a pretty healthy snack for the ants that were eating it and an interesting treasure found between plants.
Amazing. I wonder how long this has been there? (Hopefully it didn't fall from the volcano)

This orchid gave off a specially interesting smell both sweet and strong.
