On Dialogue by David Bohm

On Dialogue, more than being a practical guide on the purpose and process of dialoguing, aims at the heart of the nature of human thought. Through this book I learned about the essence of communication, how the world is living at odds because shared meaning is being created among individuals. Everywhere we see a ideologies replacing people, countries replacing world, hate replacing reason. The pages of this book propose a deep change that can come to change the universe as we know it. Bohm, of course, doesn't hold a formula for doing this since every situation is so different from each other, however I believe that if the change begins in each one of us, then this ideal will concretize in a group of people and spread beyond the borders of society, leading to creating a bond between human beings.
